I didn't achieve any of my goals this past month. I could just blame the fact that I started school in September, but in reality, I just put it off until it was too late. Procrastination is the primary predator of unfinished drafts.
Now that I have my schedule reasonably under control, and some stressors reduced, I hope I can throw myself back into writing with vigor. I have the time, so I might as well use it.
This month I'm going to work on It's a Fourth Wall Thing again and put Eyes of Hekate on hold. I'm also going to push to finish the short story that I started a month or two ago (the Giantslayer). Since it's only going to be a maximum of 10,000 words, it should be easy. (Though things are almost never how they should be...)
I'm planning on shooting for 20-30 thousand more words on It's a Fourth Wall Thing, totalling that up to 60-70 thousand all together. Unfortunately, I've run into some issues, and may have to break things up a bit.
I also need to plan out my NaNo novel for November, so I'll be working through some Preptober prompts this month as well. It's just down to choosing an idea out of a couple different plot bunnies.
That's all for now, see you all next month!
