Ah, December, when the aftermath of NaNo is fully revealed in all of its glory.
In short, I have good news and bad news.
The bad news is that I still have not finished my NaNo novel. (Which also doesn't have an official title yet, either.) I am farther behind schedule than I'd like, since I had originally planned to write the entire first draft during November, then had to push it back to December and still haven't finished it. I hoped that I'd be able to finish my outline of TWL: tD, but I'm behind schedule, as always, and it's still riddled with plot holes, unfortunately. On the other hand, I have high hopes for this one, and I refuse to give up on it or my works in progress.
The good news is that I have another story idea! It's just a rought concept that doesn't have much of a plot yet, and I only have the designs for three characters (out of at least ten) in mind, but I've already fallen in love with the idea that the whole story will revolve around. It's going to be a big project though, so it'll most likely end up being a labor of love.
As you can see on my home page, I've also added a progress bar to the blog! I only have one right now, but I may add more for the rest of my works in progress later. Right now I am experimenting with branding and customization. I hope to get a more official website up sometime next year, but I don't know exactly when that will happen. I do plan to do it sometime in 2022, so when that happens, I'll post here about it, and have it up for a while before this blog comes down. Oh, and I also added a Contact Me page that you can access in the sidebar, so if anyone wants to ask a question about my works in progress and blog, or for advice on writing, you can use that and I'll try to get back to you within the week.
Beyond that, I spent my last days of 2020 planning for 2021. If all goes well, I will have three more drafts drafted, and IaFWT will be ready for formatting and publication in 2022. That is, if I can keep on schedule. This month I'll be editing IaFWT, outlining TWL: tD, and worldbuilding for WoN (my shiny new idea).
In conclusion, there may be some tweaks to the blog to try out features and see if I can add things and streamline a bit more. So if you stick around, you might see some new stuff this year.
Interesting. I wish you luck and happiness in the new year :)
